Albino burms in the wild?
Has anyone ever heard of a wild albino burm making it into adult hood in the wild and being captured? And if so is there any pics around of wild albino burms with some size to them? Reason im asking is I believe the sun fades out there pattern over time. Alot of the albino burms in florida being pulled out of the wild are almost completly white. With very faded yellow lines and I was just wondering if this could possibly be from being out in the sun or if its just a new color morph.

What albino burms are being pulled out of the wild in florida?
Re: Albino burms in the wild?
yes and there pattern almost has no yellow in it at all. And everytime I see one someone in florida has one. BUt I didnt think an albino would last that long in the wild

The ones in Florida are probably big when they're realeased, can gators see color? If not I guess it wouldn't matter and that's really the only thing that could take them
As for actual wild ones I have no clue

I haven't heard of any wild albino burms being pulled out. Seems like everytime they pull one out its a normal. The hardest part about them being albino is when they are growing up. Once they reach adulthood it doesn't matter nothing is really going to mess with them.

There certainly were albinos caught, there was an importer over here in the UK offering WC florida burms for sale, normals and albinos.
Sorry to the OP though, i've no pictures.

There was a episode of monster hunters i think were they were looking for evdice of brums eating cats and dogs(im not sure if it was that by the way). They set up camaras every were and if im not mistaken they got a pic of a full grown albino brum but it still looked like a albino and did not look faded.
Re: Albino burms in the wild?
Please don't base any real life anything on the show Monster Hunters. That show is so fake it's not funny.
If anyone has caught albino burms in the everglades, i certainly haven't seen it yet.

If I am not mistaken one of the original lines of albino's that Bob Clark had were WC many yrs ago now and most albino burms here in the states are related to it in one way or another. Bob doesnt have a forum anymore but I am sure you could find his home page and contact him and ask him questions . He is a great guy to talk to.
