Mom & boyfriend arrested in Fl. (python killed the 2 y.o.)
Re: Mom & boyfriend arrested in Fl. (python killed the 2 y.o.)
So did the parents kill her? I wouldn't think they could charge them with murder unless they killed her, where if it was an accident due to their stupidity, involuntary manslaughter would likely be the harshest charge they could bring them up on? Plus, the mom turned herself in. I said right away that it didn't sound like an accident when I heard the details.

The man was already in jail for slinging cocaine. Great.... I would like to know the rest of the story on this, what the evidence in the murder charges are. That would tell us a lot, but I bet we can already guess. That news clip starts off good and then digresses into a "Florida good, Snakes bad!" article real quick.

Another black eye for the herp community...
You notice how they say AT LEAST 12 have been killed by pythons,, As if they are assuming there are a bunch more but they were never documented!

This is the same one from a month or so ago. At least it looks like (still sad) that the parents actually murderd the girl instead of the snake killing the girl.

The article seems to still say the snake killed her. Not sure how they make the murder charge stick.
The whole "12 people killed since 1980" would sound ridiculous if they stated it properly as 12 people in over 29 years...
