    Another Cage Question???
    Cage question #1001 Sry folks.

In a battle with my wife over the best to buy I like the cages she likes the racks.

    Boaphile Cages 221d 29.5 x 24 x 11.5

    Boaphile Racks with Sterilite tubs 1960 34.5 x 16.5 x 6

Whats the best for the animals?

I guess it would depend on how many snakes you have. If you have 1-3ish then I would say go with cages. If you have 3+ then Id say go with the rack. If you have 3 I think it could go either way. You also have to take into account your future plans with snakes. If you plan to acquire more then consider the rack. Also, are you planning on being able to view them (when they are actually out of hiding) or just having them and looking at them when you open the racks.

    Just my $.02

I personally have no experience with either. I love the look of the cages and want one in the future, but I dont have plans to own enough snakes to need a rack. Both choices are good ones.

Sry I should have explained more we plan on about 10 plus animals all females and we have no plans on breeding. We would like to view them. She just thinks racks are the why to go.And i like the looks of the cages.

You should get a rack for some of them, but have a few cages around to show off your snake, especially if you have some cool morphs that would interest company when they come over :)

I agree. Maybe put 2-3 in cages and keep the rest in tubs...

I would get the rack probably because it's gotta be cheaper than buying 10 boaphiles. But maybe a cage for your favorate snake to show off?

Yea, Hell, for how much you would probably have to pay for 10 cages, you could probably custom make a rack that you can view like a cage. Kill two birds with one stone. Random thought, probably not realistic tho.

I think a rack for like 8 and 2 cages would be the best judging from what you said your plans are.
