bad shed help required !!
My python has shed her skin and it seems that not all of it shed properly and i am a little worried it seems the parts that hvent come off are the top of her head and her neck for about an inch and a half down her neck ive soaked her today for an hour. But it seems the skin on her neck is still attached to her old skin is this a natural thing to happen with a ball python,as i am new to keeping snakes Ihope someone can advise me.

Re: bad shed help required !!
Bad sheds are usually the result of not enough humidity in your pet's tank. There are medicines you can get from your local pet store that assist in the ease of shedding. Whatever you do, DO NOT try to pull the dead skin off your snake as you risk the chance of causing an open wound. Continue to soak him for a few minutes each day and hopefully the skin will come off on it's own.
In the future, ensure your humidity is in the safe range as well as the temps. I prefer to keep my humidity cloer to the 60% range and temps at 88-89 degress. I have had the best shedding success with these settings for all my pythons and have not had a bad shed yet.
