    Rex or hairless asf's?
I have this male asf who is about 4-6 weeks old and has just this peach fuzz weird fur. He is the only one of the at least 75 asf's we have that looks like this. I was wondering if asf's have different fur types like regular rats do?

    Very interesting....

I have had a few that have that on the center of their backs, but the sides are long and look like dust ruffles.

The length and straightness of his whiskers does not reflect what rex or hairless fur looks like on mice and rats, so I am more convinced he is going through his first moult.
