what's your humidity? there's a good chance hey may have had an extremely poor shed and his shed is still stuck on him.

Remember they go dull, then kinda clear up for a couple days, THEN they shed.

I may be off base, but goodluck :)

http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules....warticle&id=57 Daniel's great article may help pin down what is going on if you know how many days have passed .

    Quote:

    Clearing up

During this stage of the shedding process, the opaqueness of the eyes clears up and the ball python is preparing to shed. The body will clear up slightly but may keep a dull appearance. At this point, it may be hard to recognize that your ball python is in shed. They generally look like they normally do, but slightly darker. I have never taken pictures of this step because it is not drastically different than normal.

haha. i just went through that as well. my BP was blue as can be, then clear for a few days, i posted about it, and they told me the same thing. well, he shed, and it is quite evident...he will look a little brighter, and you'll find the shed!!

I would put money on it that he's not shed yet. They do the pink belly, dull colors, blue eyes thing, then suddenly clear up and look like they've shed...then within 48 hours...they actually shed. As long as your humidity is good, all will go as it should.
