Husbandry help - both bp and bci
Sorry for the double post. Hoping for supply suggestions.

First off we a dealing with aquariums. I know, I know. We are currently saving for more suitable housing but these are what we have for now. Next weekend we will be getting UTH's, thermostats, and digital thermometer/hydrometers. Need some brand/model suggestions. I am hoping to stick to Amazon.com for a one stop shop and no shipping charges. I have gone over the recommended brands and am curious which middle of the line products you would suggest.

Second, tips and tricks that we can use to stabilize our humidity? Currently half of both tanks is covered with a damp towel.

    Thanks in advance

Take aluminum foil and measure and cut to fit the dimensions of your screen top (you want roughly 3/4ths covered, then spray paint it black. Take electrical tape (make sure it's not stretched out when you apply it or it'll become a pain to deal with) and tape down the aluminum foil making sure there's no gaps.

I used this process and it's a pretty clean job. You want to make sure you dont cover the whole top though for airflow. You can also make cutouts as appropriate for your CHE/OTH
