Check out some of the older posts on genetics or even just google bp morphs and most sites give a rundown of how a morph can come about.

    a het means heterozygus

if you breed an abino to a wild type, then you will get 100% het for albino. meaning they look normal but they carry the genes of an albino. so the only thing you can get right away is normal looking hets. If you breed those offspring to the albino parent you will get albino babies.

    hope that helps

First you have to make sure one is a male of correct age and weight(anywhere from 6 months and up,Weigh at least 500 grams.Next one has to be a female of correct age and weight (usually 2 to 3yrs old, weigh at least 1200+ or 500 grams per foot in length).Do you have enough experiance as far as the general needs for a ball python to move on to breeding them? If not then i would not advise you to try to breed ball pythons yet.If your snake and the other snake are not in tip top shape as far as there health is concerned. You could cause your snake alot of unneeded stress and they could become sick.Breeding is very taxing on them and its nothing to rush into. Not being rude here just honest

If you don't mind me asking, how much did your friend pay for his albino?

Your friend does not have an albino BALL PYTHON. He most likely bought an albino BURMESE PYTHON. Albino ball pythons sell for over $1200. If your friend was sold the animal as an albino ball python, I would definately tell him to return it to whomever he purchased it from.....before that burm starts growing....and it could easily grow 8 feet in a year if feed consistantly.
