Anybody Identify This Pic??
Who can identify this snake?
I'm thinking a Carpet Python?? But I could be totally wrong.
It's at a Reptile Rescue about 2 hours from me,
I knew you guys/gals would be quicker on the ID then emailing them
Thanks for any help!!

Did animal control get the cages also?
Good luck!
That's unknown to me, I sent them an email asking if they had any other pictures, any known issues,
and the approximate length and weight if known. Waiting to hear back, They have a pretty stiff re-homing fee (in my opinion) but if it includes the enclosure
and maybe it's negotiable to a point if I'm willing to drive a few hours each way. Just maybe I'll have this years new pet.
I've been looking at a few that needed homes but they seem to get adopted a lot faster than they use to.
Hopefully that's a good thing and more people are accepting snakes as a pet and not to be afraid of.

Well got a reply back this morning....
"He’s full grown, about ten years old.
We don’t generally weight adult snakes unless they look emaciated. No known issues.
He’s easy to handle."
Not a lot of help there.....
So full grown is ???? 6 feet? 8 feet? Longer???
If it's (no clue on sex) 10 years old it another 5 to 10 years in it's life span, maybe more?
It would need a standard terrestrial enclosure or an arboreal enclosure with lots of climbing?
Re: Anybody Identify This Pic??
All of my adult carpets are 6-7ft. I don’t expect them to get much larger length wise. Life expectancy can be 20+ years. A 4x2x2 or 6x2x2 enclosure would be awesome for an adult carpet. Mine aren’t very active but they do appreciate branches and shelves for climbing and perching. They’re really easy to care for and fun to keep. If he’s healthy then I hope you take the plunge.

Yeah but "Easy To Handle" compared to What?? :D
And don't worry about "Enabling" , I'm a self Enabler, I manage to talk myself into all kinds of things
