Everything looks better with Hypo in it!
Its often said that "Everything looks better when you add Hypo/Ghost into the mix. This year I bred a Lesser het Hypo and an Enchi Hypo together and was fortunate enough to hit 7 out of the 8 possible combinations. Because I did, I thought it might be cool to take the opportunity to show some side by side pictures of the individual Co-Dom gene (which are all het) and the same gene with the Hypo expressed. I wish I had hit the eighth combo as I did hit two Enchis, but neither were Hypo. I still was able to use the female that laid the clutch as an example of the Enchi Hypo. I hope you enjoy this and it makes you want to add Some Hypo to your collection.

So happy that you did this post. Crazy how the odds work sometimes.

    Neat comparisons.
I guess in my case, I'd say, "everything looks better w/o hypo"?
They are all pretty, but in each pair, I prefer the darker colours.

Thanks Eric. I once had a clutch of 8 eggs that hatched 7 normal and one YB, so I was pretty excited to see all of the combos in this clutch.

That's alright, it's that what makes this so much fun. Everyone's tastes are different. Just glad you like some of them.

Yes, it's why I wanted to start this thread. I was lucky enough to have the examples.

I have said it for years that Hypo makes everything better, and I know a few other members that agree too ;)

Those are smocking, you can be proud and obviously selective breeding always pays off too.

Thank you Deborah. Your Enchi Hypo was one of the snakes that made me excited about the Hypo gene and I remember asking your opinion on a female Enchi Hypo. You said you would pass as there were better. I am really glad I listened. When you hatched that Hypo Enchi Blade het Clown, I couldn't wait to hatch my first clutch.
