Supporting USARK - The Future of Herps

Unfortunately it seems like this forum gets a lot more attention than the Pet Related Laws and Legislation forum. It's understandable; off topic chatter is fun. But this is important. Really important.

USARK has a new president, and the reptile community is still feeling the after effects of Andrew Wyatt's betrayal. We are divided right now, and HSUS and PETA may well plan to take advantage of that. We need to unite again, quickly, and begin 2013 with a strong organization that can defend our rights.

$5 a month is less than a fast food meal. It's less than a Starbucks coffee. $5 a month is MUCH less than what most of us spend caring for our animals. It may not sound like $5 a month will make a difference, but if enough people donate, it can be enough to defend ourselves from HSUS and PETA. It can be enough to help preserve our rights not just for our own benefit, but for the benefit of future generations of herp keepers.
