Dallas NARBC is gonna be HUGE! + MORE
NARBC Dallas = OVER 440 tables!
You read that correctly. NARBC Dallas is going to be over 100 tables bigger than it was in Arlington (see show map below). Tons of vendors and tons of fun. This is truly a Texas-sized show and you do not want to miss it.
Do not forget about the USARK benefit auction on Saturday night following the show. The auction has both live and silent portions so there are opportunities for everyone. Show attendees can come and hang out with the vendors while enjoying the always amusing antics performed by Brian Potter. Thank you to all of the donors who make these fundraisers possible! See an auction flyer below. USARK appreciates the continued support from Bob, Brian, and the NARBC crew.

USARK always needs volunteers at reptile shows we attend and we cannot thank those who help us enough. You are HUGE contributors to making our mission possible. We can use 6-8 volunteers on Saturday (throughout the afternoon and evening for auction purposes) and 2-4 people on Sunday (for 1-2 hours). If you can help, email vanessa@usark.org. Please note that volunteers must represent USARK and the herp community professionally and maturely.
    Show Schedule: April 13-14
    Friday: Setup and VIP only
Saturday: 10:00-5:00 (VIP at 7:30 AM)
Auction: 6:00 PM Saturday at the Renaissance Hotel next door to the show (Landmark Ballroom)
Sunday: 11:00-4:00 (VIP at 10:00 AM)
    Location:
    Dallas Market Hall
    2200 N. Stemmons Fwy
    Dallas, Texas 75207

AUCTION NOTES: There will be adult-oriented language and shenanigans at the auction. While everyone is welcome, parents should be advised if bringing children. There will be appetizers and a cash bar.
    The Reptile Talks: 1st Symposium!
Have you heard about The Reptile Talks happening in Anaheim in May? Speakers from all over the country are coming to this not-for-profit event to share their knowledge with attendees. The Reptile Talks seeks to promote inclusion and provide content that benefits the entire hobby; not just one segment or another. The goal is to run the gamut of interests in the community.

On Saturday night, there will be a celebration of the life and impact of Bob Mailloux. This observance is open to everyone.

The Reptile Talks will donate all proceeds after operating expenses to USARK. There will also be an auction for USARK that is open to the public on Saturday night and donations from anyone are appreciated.

    See two promo/informational images below.

    Internation Herpetological Symposium
Registration is open! The first Symposium of Captive Propagation and Husbandry of Reptiles and Amphibians was held in June 1976. That evolved into what we know today as the International Herpetological Symposium (IHS). The 46th meeting of the IHS will be in Knoxville, Tennessee. The city is also home to Zoo Knoxville (IHS tour/banquet on June 21) and nearby herping in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Each year the IHS is held in a different location. Its purpose is to disseminate information and research pertaining to the natural history, conservation biology, captive management, and propagation of amphibians and reptiles. IHS also seeks to build a community open to all individuals interested in reptiles and amphibians.

See the IHS promo image below.
