First BP, First feeding!

:DI've had my girl Nala for one week now, and today was the first time I've fed her--with great success, thanks to all the wonderful advice I found on this forum--thanks to all!!:bow:She's five months old, and her breeder told me she's eating F/T large adult mice, so last night I took one out of the fridge to defrost and today I set it up under a heat lamp clamped to a small folding table near her cage, and I heated it to 90 degrees. I held my breath as I held it in her cage with the feeding tongs. I wasn't expecting how fast she would strike--so I dropped it, and it was the funniest thing because she looked at me for a minute as if to say WTF?? Then she grabbed it and down it went! It was just fascinating watching her eat. Oh, what a happy day! :carouse:

Congrats! It always feels good to get that first feeding in without any problems.

We are in the same boat. New to the snake world and just had our first feed with our baby last monday. It was fascinating :)
