BCI or Blood python.
Well I had plans to buy a BCI, but now I've realized I really like the look of blood pythons. Just wondering which you guys prefer?

blood vs bci.. blood definitely. I'm more of a python guy anyways. A nice red brongersmai.

Re: BCI or Blood python.
I only have a Burm and a BP right now and I've never had a boa, they seem like they just have a complete different texture than pythons. I've never even held one lol.
Edit: *Woot 100 posts* lol

I'm far from an expert in the BCC vs BCI debate, so I'm curious why the love of BCCs and disdain for BCIs. I thought most, if not all, of the boa morphs were in the BCIs rather than the BCCs. Doesn't that have a tendency toward making BCIs more appealing?
As far as the OP's question goes, I'd have a hard time deciding that myself; both of them can be absolutely beautiful, and both get a bit on the large & heavy side w/o being giant, so it's easy to see why the comparison exists. I think I'd come down on the side of the BCI simply because the shape of their body is more attractive to me, but Blood Pythons sure do have some amazing colors sometimes...

Obviously in the end its your choice but I voted for blood; but thats cause I want one myself . But don't get me wrong the boas are very nice and have some pretty cool morph potential. They would both be interesting/ fun to keep.

The natural beauty of BCCs is astounding. I'm not much of a morph guy, except when it comes to BPs. If I don't love the normal phase of a particular species, I'm not going to love a morph of that species.
I just love BCCs. I like BCIs too, but I have complete adoration for a nice BCC (especially peruvians!)

BCC are "True" red tails... Not only are their patterns much bolder, and cleaner, but they are just all around more beautiful... Especially their Bright candy red tails!

Re: BCI or Blood python.
I voted blood. I have a BCI and a Borneo short tail so it depends what you like.
The Borneo is a big lazy slug that has the unnerving habit of watching you where ever you go. They are different to handle than a boa in that they don't hold onto you at all, so you have to be very diligent about supporting their entire body (no throwing around your shoulder).
The BCI is very active and outgoing and will climb all over you and anything with in reach. He's also a lot quicker to strike and does so with less warning than the borneo.
