    lowering humidity

I just moved to the pacific northwest from the dry desert, so it's rainy and humid and my snake is in a plastic tub with holes drilled into the top and sides. the humidity is very high here, and even higher inside the tub. its in the high 70s outside, and was 90 in the tub before I freaked out and took the lid off to get it lower. It's still 85% though. Any suggestions?

The best you're going to do is get it down to the natural humidity in your house. Which is still high by bp standards. Try ventilating the area with a fan or something.

You may want to think about a dehumidifier though for the long term.

Whenever the humidity kicks up in my snakes' tubs, I turn the ceiling fan on. If you dont have a ceiling fan, I recommend investing in an oscillating fan or even a small box fan. Works like a charm.
