Re: Rat Genetics - Blue Berkshire
The blue berk female came from a pet store so I don't know her genetic background. But the babies will be heterozygous for blue right?

Ok, thanks!
Since I'm breeding mice and rats I might as well have fun with colors, so my first goal is to make blue hoods. (<-- one of my favorites) I might be going to get a male today.

Rat are genetics can be crazy unless you know the parents genetica. I started out with a gray double rex, a solid black, a dumbo hooded and a normal hooded and a solid brown normal looking male. I now get from the offspring( how the parent IDK?) double rex, pure apricot, apricot hoods, brown hoods, blue, blue hoods, black w/ white feet ,white, brown and even a hymalayan and quite a few more.
Too many pets to list!
