Which would you trust?
The answer may be obvious but i just wanna make sure. And also is it bad if the humidity fluctuates from around 50 to 80 (according to the zilla) a few times a day? Thanks you guys here are the best.

Re: Which would you trust?
I use something similar to the one on the bottom, but if I could go back in time when I had more money, I'd get the first one.
P.S. Welcome to the forum!

Hi,
Where does the zilla read the humidity? At the end of one of the probes or at the base unit?
And the bottom ones are best suited to being thrown at the person trying to sell them to you - they have been known to be so innacurate you wouldn't believe it.

Re: Which would you trust?
it read at the end of the probe. theres one for both temp an humidity. They both give me very different readings, the gauges usually being a lot lower. i'd like to think the zilla is right cause if so my humidity is always good.

Re: Which would you trust?
I have one of the zillas as well as 2 accurites.
I put all 3 in an extra enclosure to get an idea of how accurate they were. The zilla was lower than the accurites by about 10%.

I think I remember hearing that those zilla probe thermometers were junky.

Re: Which would you trust?
I have the zilla probe. I placed the temperature probe under the substrate and the humidy about an inch above the substrate. Works fine. I like the min temp, max temp feature.
