First Time Away From Our New BP

And I miss him so much! Mind you, we're only away for a long weekend, having left only 2 days ago, but jeez, it's hard! Weird how I can miss something that I don't see or hold much.

That's why I've been reading even more of these boards here, connecting with you other BPers. My brother whom we're visiting is so scared of snakes, he couldn't even be in the same house with one secured away in a tank. :::sigh:::

Is it normal to miss a reclusive snake?

I know how you feel I keep having to travel and I miss my babies so much! I barely got to see them this summer!

I know how you feel. Mine are alone 4 days a week and I worry about them all the time. I make a point to be home on Wednesday nights to at least clean the cages if needed, change the water, and handle the snakes. I wish I had a non-travelling job, but meh, it's a job and it pays the bills for now...

Re: First Time Away From Our New BP

Well, for me it's normal. I go to my dad's each weekend from Sunday to Tuesday and in that time I don't see any of my snakes, which really sucks. I always miss my snakes when I'm away, even if I'm not even that far away. Snakes definitely make up a large portion of my life, and I just love having them they all have their own little personalities :].

I'm home, have held and weighed him (holding weight well), and all is well in his snakey world. It's a nice feeling!
