    Rat tubs

What kind of tubs/racks do you guys recomend for breeding rats? I have 25 ball pythons and plans for more so I plan on having a decent sized rat coloney. Ive looked at the home made tubs but I want something that is as convienent as possible to clean and maintain so I dont mind spending a few extra dollars on it, if its worth it.

Most of the breeders use black cement tubs found at Home Depot. Check out this link that shows a great rat rack design.

yep, that's what I use. I can't imagine anything easier to clean (unless someone else does it for you )

    Re: Rat tubs

I also use them but be sure there are no defects in the tub as I had to replace one because they chewed a whole it it because it was bubbled up in the one corner. But this is the rat rack I have just recently built.
Front view minus 2 tubs. I made it to hold eight but lowes only had 6 at the time.

This is a side view with the braces. The rails were a lil crooked but have them fixed now.
