    Hi there

    Hello everyone,
to start off I just wanted to say thank you. This forum, and the members on it have already been a huge help to me.
I just recently picked up herping about a month ago and it has been a trip. It really amazes me how much a person is capable of learning when they are really intrigued by something.
In theory it would be really great to get a collection of ball pythons together, with the ideal that eventually I would be breeding them. I haven't made a huge leap, but I should be expecting a female bp het for pied, and a female spider next payday I am very excited about this.
It is nice to find another hobby after being submersed in the tropical fish scene for 8 years. It is nice to be learning about genetics, diy reptile racks, flexwatt, and thermostats. Something new to me.
    Thanks again guys and gals,

    Emily

    Red face Re: Hi there

Hmmm.....obviously I spent more time digging for bp info and a lot less time looking for the newbie folder under the off-topic cafe area Oops....

    Re: Hi there

Thanks you guys/gals!!! I really really can't wait to get my snakes lol.....I should almost be counting it down on a calendar.
This is the first time in probably 8 years that I have had a snake. I kept a rat snake for a while, until I went on vacay one summer and the snake was let out while I was gone.
Meanwhile, I can definantly help out a bit on the fish-related end of the forums here.
