    yes that was my thoughts... if there was hundreds of thousands they would be finding maybe that much in one day

    Actually, it probably is. Pithing or crushing the brain would probably be the fastest ways to euthanize a snake. So, either a club or a knife.

    If snakes respond the same way to drugs they use to put dogs to sleep, I don't see why they don't use those. Even if they don't, there has to be some other way to euthanize a snake because:
