Am I Right?
Ok so I have the new 100% Het Pied male and 50% het pied female. Now if she proves out when i breed them together ( lets say i have a 6 egg clutch and i get a pied or two out of it ) she proved out . ( right? ) Ok..no if in that 6 egg clutch, I get 2 pied and 4 normals. Those normals are 66% Het pieds right? If not , What are they?

Re: Am I Right?
You will have to consider them 50% hets, but it is possible that they still could be 66% hets, because you can have a pair of 100% hets produce eggs but still not get a visual from the clutch. In other words, if you don't get a visual morph their first clutch that doesn't mean that you won't get one their next clutch or some clutch after. You have to remember that the 25% chance of getting a visual morph from het to het breeding is only theoretical.

So I shall consider all normal offspring to be 50% het pied unless she proves out. Then they are 66% Right? If I just breed her to a pied, And get pied babies. I am fer sure shes a het..yes?

Re: Am I Right?
Exactly, until you prove her out, assuming she is being bred to a 100% het male, her offspring should be considered 50% hets. If/when she proves out, then all of those offspring that were considered 50% would now be 66% hets. Any future normal looking offspring from the, now proven het, female when bred to a 100% het male would also be considered 66% het.

Yes.
If she proves to be a Het and there are pieds in the clutch, all the normal babies will be considered 66% hets.
