    Lemon Pastel vs. Pastel?

What's the difference? The reason I ask is because my friend is getting one and we have been talking about them which made me wonder. Lemon pastels supposedly keep their color. Well my pastel whom I've never labeled "Lemon" is hitting one year and 1000grams and is still the bright yellow he was when he was a baby. Should I label him lemon?

Lemon pastels are NERD's line of many different lines of pastels. There is no difference. Some of the lines have different appearances, but without everyone selectively breeding each line to keep and improve the traits that separate each line, they are all starting to look the same, with each line having crappy, average, and awesome examples of pastels.

If you don't know the background of yours, you can't label him as a lemon since you don't have the background on his genetics. Just label him as a pastel.

He has always been a beast of an eater. And that's how. Feeding what he's supposed to eat.

yea anything "*insert name here* pastel" is just the name of the line, lemons are said to keep color better but I've seen nice colors out of just about every line, their all the same to me, their all the same morph, besides the cinny or black pastel.
