I have pretty much hit my limit with snakes, putting the breaks on any new animals unless I come across something I really wanted that was on my wish list, I.E., a piebald ball python but I was not going to persue getting another animal.

Well, last week my friend hit me up and asked a question saying he could no longer keep his boa. Did I want it? He just had a baby so for safety reasons as well as being a new parent his focus has changed. My thoughts?

Might as well take the boa. She is a Hogg, around 4' long. A real live wire. Getting her in the pillow case was a bit tough, needed a snake hook (for the first time ever) and my buddy was so sure he was going to get tagged would not listen to me to hold the bag open, dispite me telling him II don't think she is going to bite. After a couple minutes of me trying to get him to hold the pillow case the way I needed, he finally did it and I got her in.... but she took the hook with her and would not let it go. At least the pillow case was long enough and the hook was short enough to fit in side. Got home to remove her from the pillow case into the tub and took around 4 times to get her all the way into the tub, of course she went in the wrong way, instead of under the lid, where I could push her tail in last, she went in tail first and just refused to want to go in.

Fun times

I did manage to get her in the tub. I gave up on getting the pillow case out. I have not really even had a chance to look at her since she was so wired, let alone to snap pics. I thought I would let her calm down a for a couple days before trying to snap some pics. Maybe after I get a meal down her and a few days of rest she will be willing to calm down some for a photo shoot.

I am looking into animal plastics for a better house for her
