So after settling to just continue feeding my new 09 spider male live mice despite price, and danger, I decided to just try one more frozen before i went to live, just to see if he would eat. it it was dark, he was roaming around and conditions were perfect, and instead of holding it by the tail i held the mouse by the scruff of the neck to make it look more realistic. and he struck but didnt coil, and then as my hopes dropped he struck again and coiled and ate it!! it was Awesome!!!
