Now that I'm thinking about it, Do you think this is a real het pied?

I picked it up at Humburg this a few days ago. I got it from 8BallPythons as a 50% Het for pied ( 50% chance it is 50% chance its not )...i think lol. Anyway,

Do you think she is got the gene in her? I see markers but some people say they are not markers and some agree with me. She also has the tail stripe which i just read up on which is another marker for pied. I trust 8BallPythons and all, But I just want your opinion. Think she will make nice pieds for me? ( she will be bred to a 100% Het pied.

No way to tell but if Adam says is 50% het then those are your odds 50/50..

Well, it's not a matter of TRUST regarding the seller if they told you it's 50% het pied. I mean...regardless of how much you trust them, it still may NOT be het pied. That being said...I'm sure unscrupulous sellers may say an animal is a % het, knowing full well no recessive morphs were involved in the breeding...but they can't be held accountable because of the %'s....but if Adam (8ballpythons) tells you it is what it is, then you can be 100% certain that one of it's parents was 100% het pied.

As for the markers....I'm no expert...but based on the looks of that snake, I'd be HOPEful that it would prove out.
