    Cutting eggs?

Well my eggs are almost ready to hatch, and I was wondering if it's necessary to cut them so the baby's can come out? This is my first clutch ever so I really want to do everything right.

    Thanks

What day are they on? Usually once one of them pips out or starts making slits in the eggs it's ok to cut the rest. It's hard to resist the urge I know.

There on day like 48 or so. I'm expecting them to hatch on the 11th of this month. And yea I know its gonna kill me not to slit the eggs. lol. But man it's a great feeling knowing that pretty soon you'll have little snakes coming out. And the other part is that i'm not too sure who the father of the clutch is, so thats killing me.

Ya haha that same thing happened to me this year, thought it was Normal to Lesser turned out that the one time I had the normal with the Bumblebee did it, ended up with 2.1 Normals and 0.2 Pastels, quite the surprise when you cut and see a pastel looking up at you! Good luck and if it were me I would wait until day 50-52 before I cut.

Lol. But congrats on your eggs. And I mean I rather not slit the eggs cuz I don't want to mess up. But thats why I asked if it's necessary to slit the eggs. I rather just have them come out on there own.

    Re: Cutting eggs?

I have only cut one or two clutches this season.

I have not had any problems letting them do it all on their own.

    Re: Cutting eggs?

One of my albino hets ignored the big window I cut in the top of the egg and made her own slit on the front end, and came out there. ^_^

    Re: Cutting eggs?

Cool. Thanks for the inputs guys. I guess ima just let them do it on their own unless I see them having trouble or something getting out of the eggs. Thanks again.
