Wrapped Up Warmly & Asleep: Stressed?
It seems like anything and everything can cause stress to a BP. Can being wrapped up in a warm towel or blanket, when it's curled up and hasn't moved for an hour (hence the "asleep" assumption), be stressful?
Ours was roaming around mid-afternoon, which is highly unusual for it. It had been in its cool hide for the past 12 hours.
I weighed it, then took the opportunity to hold it, and it calmed right down, so I'm assuming it was taking in the warmth from my hands. It has since been wrapped up in a blanket, first on the couch and now on my lap, and has been "asleep" the entire time.
Of course, I don't know if it's going to roam around or go back into its hide when I put it back in, but at least for now, when it's warm and unmoving, does that sound like a happy BP?
