Re: Mojave or Pastave?
Couple of things:
Cannot tell anything from your pics.
What happened to his head, it looks like there is a bullet hole in it?

Re: Mojave or Pastave?
i'm assuming a rat, he's got a few marks down his back too, he was less than half the price of any other similar sized mojo at the show because of them, but i didnt mind because he had the best coloration of any there, they didnt look too bad (most are already shed out at least once or twice, minus the head which looks recent) and i figured theyd shed out over time, he was the lightest one anyone had, and had the most yellow in his dorsal, thanx guys

Re: Mojave or Pastave?
not to be rude, im just not sure what else youre looking for in pix, i tried to show the high amount of blushing, the really pastel head, the light eyes, the belly, and the bright dorsal, what would you like and ill try to get some more pix, thanx again

Re: Mojave or Pastave?
The marks on him look like he just hurt himself either in an escape attempt, or crawling underneath something. A gouge on his head, a scratch along the top of his neck--all suggestive of that. I would not turn down a snake with those types of very minor injuries just because it wasn't flawless, particularly if it was marked down. A few scars from misadventure don't mean it isn't healthy. I have a female that gouged her snout trying to force her way out of a bin in transport. I have a snake or two with scratched scales down the top of their neck or back from crawling under their water bowl. That type of scrape doesn't even break the skin. I'd pay close attention to the head gouge and treat it with betadine--vet him quickly if there's any sign of inflamation or infection, but he looks like a decent mojave to me.
Of course breeding him will prove it out--if you get any pastels in the bunch, then you know. If he does have pastel in him, it probably wasn't a very good pastel, though. I won't say absolutely no pastel, because the pictures are suffering from lighting/color issues, and some aren't clear.

Re: Mojave or Pastave?
Thanx for everyones replies, after looking at some older pastaves online, and my pastels at home, i think hes just a regular mojo, sorry for the pics theyre from a cell phone, climbing out was my second guess for the scars since the ones on his back are just long straight lines, the circle on the head im still not sure about, ill post some new pics once he gets settled in and goes through his first shed with me, thanx again
