That depends, show us some pictures.
Different animals grow at different rates due to many different factors.
She could have a great metabolism and be perfectly healthy at that weight and age.
Showing us a current picture will let us see her size in relation to length and be able to tell you if she is a nice fast growing healthy animal or a short over weight little porker....LOL
Also is that 1000 grams on empty or 1000 grams with food / poop in her ?

Re: just a question
All snakes will grow at their own rate. Some will grow faster than others, some will grow slowler than others. It really depends on what it eats and how it's housed.
If you feed a snake a large food item, the snake will get larger faster. Though, you would have to watch out in case it's putting too much weight on the snake, making the snake overweight. If you are feeding your snake smaller food items, the snake will most likely not grow as much and may become underweight depending on what you are feeding it.
If the snake is housed in a rather large enclosure, it has more space to stretch out and move around. Ever since I gave my King snake a 40 gallon, he's been shedding a lot. And when I mean a lot, a mean a lot. In fact, he's shedding right now. If a snake has a small enclosure, it really doesn't have a whole lot of space to stretch out and move around so the snake will not shed as often, meaning it won't grow as fast.

Re: just a question
I try and feed 10%-15% of their body weight. So if its a 500 gram snake I try and feed around a 50 gram rat.

Actually Tiffany, the size of the enclosure has nothing to do with growth rate and shedding. I suspect your king has been shedding a lot lately because he's been sick. Stress also causes frequent shedding, and being sick is certainly stressful.

I think she looks well proportioned, and obviously a great feeder for you. I wouldn't change a thing.
