This is just me ranting/venting, but I cannot stand it when people want to keep BPs or any snakes for that matter, yet be completely lackadaisical about taking care of them. What I mean is that they fail to properly check up on their humidity, temperature, husbandry of the tank.

I honestly feel like I'm the only one in my household keeping this BP alive and well. However, we just transferred our BP from a 25 gallon into a 50 gallon, and at the moment we're in the process of moving it onto a table structure and also reinforcing the corners because the structure is made out of plastic. Currently the tank is on the carpet, and we only keep the UTH on when we're present until we can get it on a table (which means the UTH really isn't on for that long).

This has been day 2, and I've been pestering my fiancee on freaking getting to work on the tank, but has completely refused because he keeps saying "it'll be fine". No, it won't. I misted the tank this morning because the humidity was way too low, and in turn I get yelled at because apparently the sides need to be reinforced before any misting happens. Well, what the hell, I don't want to put my snake in danger! He's also refusing to move the table in so we can put this tank on there and get the UTH on again.

ARGH!!!!!!!
