bathing/soaking for 12 hrs?

Ok so my BP has been bathing/soaking in her water dish for the past 12hrs. Is this a bad thing? Should i take her out? What does this mean?

Check for mites. Bp's usually soak for a long time for relief from mites.

Several of mine do it randomly, and none of them have mites. But, I have indeed heard it can be a sign of mites.

It can also be a sign that it's too hot in the enclosure, or the humidity is too low.
What is your husbandry like?

Ball Pythons can soak for any number of reasons.

1. Mites
2. Too hot in the enclosure
3. Too large of a meal
4. Because they just feel like soaking

The first 3 should be pretty easy to identify. If you get that out of the way, then don't worry too much about it.

temps usually around 95 hot side , 85 on the other. Hum. is alway between 50-60, His last feeding i did bump her up a size in mice. I never seen mites on her but now u got me scare and i'm goin to inspect her ha

Look in the water dish for what looks like poppy seeds, those would be mites.

I would suggest that 95 is a bit warm on the warm side, I'd bring it down to 90-92 degrees and the cool side to 80-82 degrees. What are you using to measure your temps?

OK no mites at all, inspected her and cleaned out her bedding and cleaned and scrubbed the tank. But in her water dish after she was done soaking there was a film substance in the water?

Oh, boy. There is no such thing as "precision analog." Unfortunately, those can be up to 10 degrees off. So your temps could be too high.

I recommend the Accurite for a cheap digital therm/hygro.
