    Re: question time

By pitt you mean pitt bull right?

We have two dogs and they are always running by the snakes and the snakes don't care or really notice at all. Not that I have noticed. I have noticed no difference in their temperament when around the dogs.

    Re: question time

Having the dog nearby shouldn't make them more likely to bite. My boa never cared about the dog. No chance of them mistaking your for food.

Here is a video that tried to answer the same question.

    Re: question time

As far as I've noticed, snakes really don't mind a dog around them. I have two dogs at home, and they are constantly around my snakes when I handle them. My snakes will even try to smell them. The dog will not effect the snakes in anyway to cause them to show aggressive behavior or even bite.

    Re: question time

My snakes don't care about dogs the slightest bit, been 10 years with one of them, no problems ever besides the first time the dog was introduced to a snake. My corn tagged her nose once and she leaves em all alone now. We've actually trained a few dogs with my corn snake...he's quite the teacher.
