    Quick Question on a cage

IM expecting my snake in this weekend. I ordered my tank and it came in yesterday. Totally wrong tank. It was made from pine and there is a really really strong smell of chemical in it. I made arrangements with the builder to get a full refund. SO heres my problem, my snake is coming in and i dont have a tank. So i went into home depot in a panic to see what they had to offer. I found a Single door cabinet. The dimensions are 6.5'x24x36. I plan on laying the cabinet on its back, lining the inside with floor tile and cutting a hole in the side and putting a screen in it(very strong rubber coated screen). My question is, do you think this set up is ok to temp house a 8 foot burmese python for a week or 2?

im not really concerned with heating it at the moment, i have a undertank heater that im going to use and i have a dedicated room that i can control the ambient temp.

Lets not create yet another story for the news to rave about. Screen, no matter what type, will not be strong enogh for a burmese expecially an 8 foot one if it wants to get out. If you are trying to add ventelation, go to Home Depot in the A/C department and ask for a return air grille(make sure you cut the hole in your cabinet smaller than the actuall grille itself or you won't have anything to screw it into, buy the grille before you cut and you will see what I'm talking about).
