How do you know he's dehydrated?
Is there a water bowl with clean water in his enclosure? They will drink as they see fit.

    Re: dehydration issue

Well your first problem is that he is not a pastel :/

You could try soaking him in some room temp water and see if he drinks when in the soak.

Also, a pinky rat is probably too small for that snake. You could probably go with small adult mice or small rat pups.

he is a pastel just not that great of one his back color is almost normal but his belly and side colors are def. pastel but i let him soak for awhile and he drank some i also checked the humidity in his tub along with the others and they were a little low so i misted them and turned my humidifier on in the room but he showed signs that the soak helped him some ill just keep and eye on him and soak him again tomorrow it just worried me cuz this is the first time i had one get this way thanks for the advice

    Glad he drank for you!

I would check the morphs forum and see for yourself. Green eyes, clear belly, and faded head are the signs of a pastel and your snake doesn't have those traits ):

    Re: dehydration issue

For a sec there I thought he was shedding lol but it kinda doesn't look like it.
Soak him in warm water for a good 10-20 minutes daily. While he bathes he'll soak up some of it through his skin and also drink some of it. Give him clean, fresh water daily as well.

The thing I do with my snakes if I don't see them drinking (I stay up ALL night now.. and I know all of them roam around) during the day or the night then I will take the snake and put his/her head up the water and sometimes let their front lip touch the water and they will drink the water while I'm holding them up to it.
