    Re: Best site?

I third the craigslist option. The price difference between new and used tanks is huge, and as long as they aren't too scratched or cracked, you can really find some great deals on craigslist or at yard sales. You could also try reptile shows - I found a used 29 gallon tank for $30 at a reptile show, which I am now using for my cornsnake.

Finally, if you live near a college campus, this is a great time to check the dumpsters around apartments where students live, since people are moving out. We have found all manner of things near the dumpster. Recently I found a 20 long tank, screen top, and accessories - granted they were quite dirty, but after an hour of scrubbing and a few hours of bleaching out, the tank was good as new!!

    Re: Best site?

I have bought & sold tanks/supplies for very cheap on craigslist... so that's definitely the way to go!
