legless lizard

at this local pet shop they have a legless lizard for 70 bucks looks to be in great shape but i dont know much about them.

The rep. person at the store told me they are VERY fragile.
Anybody have anymore info for me?
Any experiences out there?

Do you know what species it is? There are several different species and that would determine what kind of care it would require.
