    Fake plants in the tank

I want to go get some fake plants to clutter up our tank. So we were at Wal-Mart last night and were wondering what other people do to kinda sanitize the plants before they put them in the tank. Personally, after I come out of wal-mart my hands always feel gross and dirty, I don't trust anything in there. So, do we just run them under water, or soap them up? What do you do?

Put them in water/bleach mixture. 5% bleach is enough to sanitize it. Just soak them for a minute, then rinse them off WELL. You don't want that bleach water in with your snake.
