Sex change = eats rats

Ok.. so my snake didnt have a sex change. I had posted on here a while ago about trying to switch my normal from mice to rats.. Well, I went to a breeders house yesterday and took Ranger with me... HE was sold to me as a BOY... well HE turns out to be a SHE. lol... and today SHE decided rats were tasty...

gotta hate that, thats where learning how to sex them comes in handy. its a good thing she likes rats, she will never outgrow those so no switching problems later on when she gets bigger.

I was almost going to try and sell her at the show as a boy.... until I found out she was a girl and i could breed my pastel to her.... still not sure if i want to breed yet.. but there is the option..

Breeding is a very cool thing to do, but not to be attempted untill you have done tons of research and are prepared with everything that could possibly happen. It's a very exciting and rewarding experience when everything turns out right.

My male wont be up till size for about a year maybe...so I have the time.. Just not sure if its right for me at this time.. They are pets first.... maybe breeders later..

Haha yeah unfourtuanetly thats how it always starts, pets first then you start seeing all the awesome morphs and eventually you start buying them and before you know it you have a 500$ a month feeding bill and a room devoted to them.
