    Cost less at an expo?

When I go to the expo in November I'm going to purchase 2 UTHs and 2 thermostats for my BPs.. well.. lets make thtat 3 of each since I'll be purchasing a 3rd BP. Anyway, would those items cost less at an expo than at a store? And if so, how much would they cost?

typically they do cost less at an expo because of the competition at shows and the fact that you can negotiate prices. why are you buying 3 thermostats? 1 thermostat can easily run 3 uth's.

Well I don't have a rack.. just tanks. Both BP tanks are in a separate room, cause I just got a new BP like a month ago and he's in quarantine.

Re: Cost less at an expo?

Thats pretty costly but if you have the money for 3 thermostat's and see no other cost effective way than by all means go for it. just seems like a waste to me, something you could spend on snakes, food, racks etc.....
you could use a rheostat for your quarantine enclosure till you get him in a cage and just buy 2 tstat's.

If you get something like a Helix you can get away with one Thermostat. If the enclosures and UTH's are the same you can run all 3 and have consistent temps.

Re: Cost less at an expo?

Hmm, I should do that. How much would one thermostat and a UTH cost at an expo?

Re: Cost less at an expo?

i would shot for 80 for both. A tstat by itself cost 80 so if you could get the uth thrown in for free you would be doin pretty good.
