    Exclamation Help

    guys, i need your help! i have this new bp and it was my first time to feed it with a mice but it was bitten in the neck by the mice when my bp was trying to swallow it,,,what should i do? could that incident develop an infection??? what should i put on as treatment?

    A little Polysporin on it once or twice a day would be nice

    You can also spray it with a little Chlorhexidine or a little soapy water to clean it up and help wash away the previous Polysporin before applying the new.

    I take it the mice bite is minor and doesn't need vet care. Like said above, any kind of first aid antibiotic ointment will do the job of healing it up just fine.

    i didnt even noticed first thathe got bitten by the mice. when my ball python was bouth to swallow the dead mice, it clinged in the bp's neck,,then when my ball python finally swallowed the mice, a certain portion on the ball python's neck seemed to be stretched,,i've put povidone iodine on that portion...do you guys think that its safe for my ball python? how my days should i can get relieved that my snake is free from infection or disease?? thanks guys

    Povidone-iodine will work. Very good stuff there. I'd clean the bite with iodine every day for about 5 days. When you see if start to fade away, it's healing and you can just keep an eye on it till it's gone.
