    Question Morph mix questions?

So im just figuring out how to do some punnet squares and I was wondering about something that is 2 morphs mixed like a bumble bee or a "pastave". When you do the square does the snake have each of the genes that it shows? So bumblebee would be Pastel and Spider, Pastave Pastel and Mojave? And also if its a normal with a het wouldnt it just have 1 normal and 1 of the het? or does this change when it has a certain odd percentage het.

Another one i have is, are mojaves like spiders, in the fact that there is no super from, just homozygous or one with a Mojave and Normal gene?

the super form of a mojave is a blue eyed leucy.... basically an all white snake with blue eyes.

AHH!!! no i knew that... now I feel dumb. Ok but does a regular mojave carry genes for normal or is it just mojave and mojave genes? is what i meant.

edit: i guess they would have to have normal genes becuase the BEL would be Mojave and Mojave genes... hmm...

    Re: Morph mix questions?

The Punnett for a bumblebee will have one each Pastel and normal gene, and one each Spider and normal Gene. It has to contain the super form of the morph for it to carry both morph genes. Killer bee would be two Pastel genes, then one spider and one normal gene

... So what your saying is that the two genes that it has would be Pn and Sn for pastel normal and spider normal.

How do you work out a square for that??? I dont know how to tell what it is lol..

if your doing bumblebee x pastel, you would have (top left to right) PPn PSn Pnn and Snn right? Maby im doing this all wrong... I wish i could remember sophmore year biology hahaha.

so if you have a homozygous spider x superpastel then it would be SS and PP correct?
since that is the super form.

i get the part with the killerbee.
