    QT question

So it is looking to be a good thing that I am getting these two 5 foot snakes. well my question is that when I get them as they are obviously in need of QT and I live in a two bedroom apt with roomies who have the other room do you think if I put one in the closet and the other in the room where the closet door would block their view of each other would that work you guys/gals think?

Well, usually quarantine procedures are done when you already have established snake(s) and are getting a new one. If they have both been kept together then they both probably already have whatever possible sickness the other one might have.

Separate housing is a must but in this case I don't think quarantine will be necessary. Unless that is you already have a snake?

Well, Ideally you will want them in separate rooms. It isn't a matter of not being able to see each other, more like sharing air and stuff.

Could you maybe put the snake in the living room? If not, in the closet would be better than no quarantine at all.

    Re: QT question

yeah I guess I can try but my only concern is that with the roomies until they move out to florida they have a little kid. I have a lock on my room door to keep the kid from entering my room as I don't want anything stupid happening like him letting my snakes loose as I keep them very very secure.

Ah gotcha. yeah that might pose a bit of a problem. It is probably best to wait until you have proper quarantine space before getting another snake
