I am dumb when it comes to corns but you can use vermiculite from a garden dept at a big box home supply for BP incubation medium

i went to hte local pet shot and got a bag of spagnum moss/fir mixture got that wet to the touch but no water dripping and put it in a 6qt tub with hole on side for her to go in and finish laying her eggs. Room temp is 83oF so Should i leave the eggs with mom or take them out once shes done laying.

That egg is a slug, it won't hatch.

She may have more in there which if are not layed in the next day or two could, may not but might, be a problem.

Sometimes the girls just don't lay them all. Sometimes they'll push out the rest on their own, sometimes some oxytocin will help, sometimes they need to be surgically removed.

I've had it happen several times.

    Good luck.

Thanks im still gonna keep the egg in with the others and see if anything happens. she has another at the cloaca swelling up so theres one more coming out shortly. tomorrow afternoon ill take her out and remove the eggs.

This pisses me off casue shes not big enough for 2 year old female ot have eggs. the guy i got her from swore he didnt put her with another snake. She she was handled like normal. Hope as least one egg is good. Hate for her to go through all this and get nothing out of it.

Hmmmm, she looks to be in the 30-36" range which is plenty big enough.

They can lay without ever being with a male too.

the lay box is a 6qt tub.

How can she lay eggs and be fertile with no male introduction ever. I wasnt expecting to breed these guys till 2011. Kinda caught me off guard when i cam in the room.
