Feeding concerns/questions: no trolling please :)

I once visited a well known zoo here in the Philippines and I was appalled that the boids, tho beautiful, were OVERFED; for instance, a 7 foot red tail boa was being fed 7 adult quails in one go . I asked the caretaker about this and i was told that "that's how you're supposed to feed them big snakes".

If only I had a laptop with net connection, I'd show him these links:

    http://www.reptilechannel.com/snakes...ing-snake.aspx

I once posted the first link in our local forums; I got trolled for it coz "it applies to cobras and nobody cares about them" and the troll further claimed that he's in regular contact with David Barker and that he has the Barkers' article on obesity (I asked Brian of BHB about this over email and he doesn't recall reading such an article).

So....anyone here KNOWS about this said article from the Barkers? Did they actually condone powerfeeding/overfeeding/supersizing your snakes?

    Thanks
