I know that there are many threads out there on this, but I couldn't find any right now. Anyway, obviously, my snake has retained eye caps. He managed to get one off the other day, bet there is still one on there. Along with the eye caps, he has trouble shedding his upper quarter or so of skin. I thinks that is because his previous owner fed him live mice, and didn't take care of him very well, he has a few scars, and I've heard that they can affect shedding. So I help him with that by peeling it off. Should I not do that? For the most part he is happy, except when he is trying to escape He is quite healthy, he went to the vet for a minor RI a year and a half ago and has been fine since. He eats 2 large f/t mice a week, quite greedily, and loves being taken from his tank. So anyway, back to the point. What should I do to get rid of the eye cap that is remaining? I've heard that I cold use baby oil, but are there any more methods that I could use because I don't have any baby oil in my house. Thanks in advance.
