    Male or female?

    is there any way i can tell a difference between a male and a female without probing or poping? i heard you can tell by the shape/size of the tail. can someone give me a pic of a male tail and a female tail so i can compare? my bp just ate a few mins ago so i cant take a pic but i hav a youtube vid check it out nd please tel me male or female. im hoping for a female. go to this link for the vid YouTube - Baby Ball Python

    You could make a guess, but its still a 50/50 chance. Have someone pop/probe your snake or teach you how to do it.

    He he, a female named phil would be hilarious.

    If you just got your snake, I suggest waiting a week before offering food again. This will hopefully make him feel safer in his new home and hungrier

    Leave the frozen thawed mouse on a piece of paper towel in the snakes tub overnight. He is a skinny one! Gotta get some meat on his bones!

    You are doing a great job so far! I really like your videos and I don't really go on youtube much Good luck with the little one!

    hey thanks. yea that wud be funny a female named phil lol. if its a girl its gona b Pheobe. And i hav good news i fed him a live (hopper i think?) mouse today and he took it happily. ... i was so happy that he ate i dont want another problem after the mites incident. but yea hes a happy little guy/girl rite now. im considering popping him when he gets a little bit older. thansk for the help
