    T. Quadricornis and C. Rudis Sternfeldi

Here I am with another cham post. I haven't had any snakes in my collection for several months, but I still enjoy this forum... and thought maybe some would appreciate these.

After about a year of research and prep I am venturing into another realm of keeping and breeding Chameleons, Montane species. They are a bit different then keeping Panthers and Veileds being that they tend to be found in higher altitude, cooler damp regions. High humidity, cool temps, and tons of water are a must.

I had a WC C. Rudis Sternfeldi brought to the show for me from Mike at FL Chams... This little guy is so incredibly cool. He is a full grown male, so they are a smaller species, and my favorite part about this species is that they do give birth to anywhere from 4-20 live young. I can't wait to find him a lady so I can witness this, and work on getting some more CB generations out there.
Because of his size... and he is a "Rudis" I named him after the Notre Dame Bench Warmer Rudy Reuttiger... Yup the guy from that old movie "Rudy"...
"Your too small to play football Reuttiger!!!"..hehehe

This is Rudy the Rudis Sternfeldi.

And lastly on my way back from the show I was lucky enough to pick up a rarely seen cbb T. Quadricornis. A friend of mine down in Oceanside is having great success breeding them... and was nice enough to throw one my way in hopes to create some more cbb generations. I have been wanting to work with these guys for years... but never thought I would be lucky enough to get my hands on a CB... But now I have him... and I am like a kid on Christmas. He is a 4 month old Juvenile... I have a female coming for him in a few months... I can't wait to watch him mature... I absolutely love this little guy!!! Prepare for cuteness...

This is not my pic... This is owned and taken by Josh Hensley This is the daddy of my little Quad so you can get an Idea of what he will look like matured.

    Happy Herping!

AMAZING chameleons. I have wanted one since I first saw one when I was about 7. Good luck with those boys.

Thanks guys! They are cool little chams! I am used to working with the larger species for the last few years... So I am really enjoying adding this aspect of the hobby to my day.

If by any chance anyone happens to know of any available females from either species shoot me a line. I am on the hunt.
