If the snake has problems shedding there's another sticky for that too. 
Don't confuse normal irredecence that you can sometimes see on these snakes (more so on other snake species) with a shed cycle.
Just read the above link and it should take you step by step through the whole process.

He will be shedding in a day or so, make sure that the humidity is about 60%

My snake is doing the same thing but he is still in blue. I noticed the iridescence you did but finally realized it was normal in certain light. You definately notice the difference when they do go into shed, noticeably in the eyes but in the later part of the blue phase you can really see it on the body. Make sure you up the humidity to around 70% to hopefully avoid any stuck shed.

i did think i had read somewhere that they clear up before they actually shed. but it couldve just been a daydream so its best to check
