    Holy Weight Gain Batman!

I had no idea that a ball would gain weight so quickly once on a normal feeding schedule.

I have a juvenile ball - I have no idea on the age, but when I got him, he was pretty small, and when I weighed him after he took his first meal (of one hopper) he was 91g. He's been eating now on a regular basis (He's taken two meals of two hoppers measured at about 15% of his body weight) and when I took him out to weigh him yesterday he weighed 114g!!!!! I couldn't believe that he gained 23g in two weeks!

He's looking significantly bigger, which I suppose is a good thing because he was fairly skinny when I got him, but still! I can't believe it!!

They really can put on the weight Just wait until your snake is taking small rats.. thats when many BPs REALLY get into a growth spurt.

I got three 08's that were all between 100-115g when I got them in February of this year.

My babies are now between 375-400g

I can not wait until next season when I can try my hand at breeding(I got some bigger girls), so I can really see what these things are all about.

You are so right when they start eating small rats. My Albino female was @ 125 grams last August and now she is 625 grams.

    HOLY CRAP!

And I thought he was packing it on now! Man oh man. He's such a pig too. He wouldn't eat for his first three weeks...and now he's eating 15% of his weight every 6 days and starts hunting 24-48 hours BEFORE food time.

Little guy ain't gonna be little for long.

Guess I have to get all my baby hugs in now!
